What comes in a typical veg box?
Each box includes a balanced mix of seasonal vegetables grown on our farm. Contents change with the seasons, but you can expect staples like greens, roots, alliums, and a rotating selection of whatever is at its best that week. We focus on flavour, freshness, and variety.
What if I have allergies?
Please let us know when you order and we will exclude any relevant allergies from your order, swapping the items for something else.
Can I customise my box or swap its contents?
At the moment, we are only able to accommodate swaps for allergies.
Is everything grown on your farm?
All the vegetables in your veg box, as well as microgreens and eggs, have been grown at our farm. However, we have plans to offer produce from trusted local growers who share our standards.
How fresh is the produce?
Exceptionally fresh. Most items are harvested within 24 hours of delivery. That’s the advantage of small‑scale, local growing.
Do I need to wash the veg?
We recommend you wash all the contents of the box before eating.
Is your packaging recyclable?
We are aiming for our packaging to either be reusable or recyclable. The microgreens packaging and egg boxes are both fully recyclable.
Subscriptions
Do I have to subscribe to receive a box, or can I pick and choose when I get one?
You can choose either method to receive your veg box.
How do subscriptions work?
You choose the size of box that suits your household, plus any add-ons and we harvest fresh produce to order each week. Boxes are packed on the farm and delivered on a set weekly schedule. There’s no long‑term commitment — you can pause, skip, or cancel anytime. And, you can select the frequency you receive your subscription: weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
Can I pause my subscription?
Yes — you can pause for holidays, busy weeks, or seasonal breaks. Just update your account or send us a message.
How do payments work?
Payments are taken weekly or monthly depending on your plan. Everything is handled securely through our website, and you can manage your subscription at any time.
Do you offer gift boxes or one‑off orders?
Yes — we offer one‑off boxes and seasonal gift options when availability allows. These are perfect for trying us out or sending a thoughtful local-food gift.
Delivery and Collection
Do you offer delivery?
We offer delivery, if you live within 5 miles of Aberchirder, Banff, Dufftown, Huntly or Turriff. The easiest way to check if we deliver to you is to use the postcode checker on the cart page (you will need to add a product to your cart first). If you live outside our delivery areas, please get in touch with us.
We do not offer collection from the farm, or any other location at present.
What if I’m not home for delivery?
No problem. Contactless deliveries are common: just tell us about a safe place for us to leave your box.
Is there somewhere I can collect my veg box from?
At the moment we only offer delivery.
